About Glasscrafters

A native Oregonian, Steve began working in the glass industry in 1988 with Architectural Glass and then Union Avenue Glass, where he worked with all aspects of glass, including both commercial and residential.

Steve started Glasscrafters in 1997 and shifted his focus to residential work. He prefers the personal relationship with his customers over the more corporate relationship in commercial glass work.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors. He practices Native American ceremonies as well as drumming and singing.

From the moment I called, Steve, the owner, had a great presence on the phone, he was kind and courteous, and answered my questions and scheduled to come out to my house the following day. Upon meeting him and his son Josh, I felt comfortable with them in my home, and I felt confident in their knowledge and abilities. They took measurements on that day and confirmed an order with me and they came back , four days later to install. The installation was quick and to be honest, it was cool to watch! Labor and materials were given over phone without hidden costs later.  A pre-installation visit was made to get accurate window measurements and window locations.  Actual window replacements on 2nd visit were done within 1 hour with excellent results. Many of my windows wouldn’t stay up and the seal broke causing them to look foggy and dirty. When I asked other companies about how to repair they insisted all my windows should be replaced and that they couldn’t just fix springs and the impacted window.
